Combining geometry, geology, and artistry to create unique wearable
pieces of art, Sarah has been creating wire wrapped jewellery full time
for just over a year. Described as the "queen of trial and error," Sarah
has taught herself how to use her tools and materials to harmonize her
visions and create her unique work. As with many self-taught artists,
Sarah's pieces defy convention and express her individuality and
creativity. Drawing her inspiration from the people, music, and natural
landscapes that she encountered on her travels across North America has
given Sarah a unique perspective of the continent, which is expressed in
her art. Sarah uses gems and crystals from across Canada and around the
world. Currently located in her hometown of Fredericton, New Brunswick,
Canada, where she was born in 1984, Sarah continues to work hard to
improve her work. The beauty, originality, and unpredictability of her
work continue to develop her distinctive style and her work continues to
evolve and branch out into new directions. Sarah's goals are to expand
her talents into various other metal arts while in her work embodying
some of the earth's most breathtaking crystal formations.
